Shopping Sundays
In Mechelen, the shops in the city centre are open every first Sunday of the month from 1 pm to 6 pm. On these shopping Sundays, you can often also enjoy free street entertainment or a fun event in the city centre.

Shopping events
Fun shopping events are organised throughout the year in Mechelen, such as the Warm Welcome Weekend, Street Markets and Customer Weekend. Street entertainment ensures a great atmosphere and ambiance in the shopping streets. And of course, Mechelen’s traders and catering establishments also provide fun promotions and treats for their customers!
